Princess Rose Productions was founded by Arizona filmmaker, Alexandria Rose Rizik, in April 2016 when she wrote and directed her first short film, "Contentment." After this short proved successful in the film festival circuit, winning many awards, Alexandria decided to create her 2017 film, "The Middle."
Alexandria's favorite part about creating films is being able to watch her words on a page brought to life! And now she wants to expand and see other writers and filmmakers bring their fictitious worlds to life as well.
Princess Rose Productions is now accepting submissions. We want to help you produce your film, commercial, music video, in house training videos, etc. — whether you are an experienced filmmaker or a member of the corporate world that just has an idea! We are a full service production company that can take your project from start to finish.
We work with your budget, no matter the size, to breathe life into your story. Whether you want us to start at the very beginning with helping you write a script all the way through to the end of submitting your work to film festivals or just getting a crew together to shoot your flick.
We live in such a creative generation where we are constantly surrounded by stories — from Facebook statuses, to Instagram pictures, and Youtube videos. Everyone has creativity burning inside of them and Princess Rose Productions wants to help you unleash yours.
Meet the team!
Meet Alexandria Rose Rizik — founder of and writer/director at Princess Rose Productions. Alexandria was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her passion for writing began as a young child when her aunt gave her a journal and told her to write a story in it. The rest is history. Soon after, she found a love for acting when her mother casted her in a children's television show that she had written called "Fair Bear Child Care."
She majored in Creative Writing at Arizona State University with a minor in theater. Her ultimate dream is to live on a beach where she can sit on the sand, writing screenplays all day long while sipping on wine.
She won BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR at the LONDON INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS for her directorial debut, "Contentment."
She is also the social media director for Princess Rose Productions.
Meet Nate Doane — a cinematographer, director, and editor at Princess Rose Productions. He really got into film when he saw 'Alien' and 'Avatar' as a kid and decided he wanted to edit movies because that's all he knew people did with them.
He got his first film job his junior year of high school making a documentary for the Gilbert Education Foundation, where they gave him his first real camera, light, and sound setup. After that, he got really into writing, shooting, and directing.
He did everything for his two main shorts, 'Melvin,' and the 'Corndogger Noir' — both becoming small cult hits in his friend groups as well as some actual groups, like small film circles and airsoft groups, etc. Altogether he's written two features and over 20 shorts. He's done a lot of work for other people, mostly gaffing, shooting, and coloring. He's also done a lot of commercial work, specifically for VIPAirsoft where he made some material that became inside jokes in the airsoft community, as well as some of his favorite skits.
“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”
– Andrei Tarkovsky
